On December 26, 2025, President Vjosa Osmani will hold the annual year-end reception for the Kosovan diaspora, organized to express gratitude for their contributions to Kosovo.
The Presidency of Kosovo stated that the event is a gesture of appreciation for the diaspora’s ongoing support and engagement with their homeland.
The invitation was made public by Presidential Advisor Donika Kadaj-Bujupi:
“On behalf of Her Excellency, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, we have the honor to invite you to the traditional year-end reception with the diaspora, in recognition and appreciation of the invaluable contributions of our diaspora, which remains closely connected to Kosovo.”
Honoring the Role of the Diaspora
The Presidency emphasized that the evening will focus on the diaspora’s role in Kosovo’s freedom, state-building, and development.
“Your participation will honor this evening dedicated to the irreplaceable role of our diaspora in the freedom, state-building, and progress of the Republic of Kosovo,” the invitation notes.
Attendees are requested to confirm their participation by December 24, two days before the reception.
