President Osmani Travels to Latvia After US Visit

PRISTINA, Kosovo – July 14, 2025 – the U.S., has now traveled to Latvia. Upon her return to Kosovo, President Osmani is expected to hold a press conference to address accusations made by Richard Grenell, former U.S. envoy, that she manipulated statements by President Donald Trump regarding his claims of preventing a recent conflict between Kosovo and Serbia.

The President’s office announced her visit to the Baltic state, detailing her agenda:

Meetings and Agenda in Latvia

President Osmani was invited to Latvia by President Edgars Rinkēvičs. Their meeting will include a one-on-one discussion, a working meeting with respective delegations, and a working lunch hosted by President Rinkēvičs.

Following their discussions, both presidents will hold a joint press conference. During this event, President Osmani will present President Rinkēvičs with the Presidential Military Medal for the Latvian Defense Forces in recognition of their contributions to peace and security as part of KFOR.

During her one-day visit, President Osmani is also scheduled to visit the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (STRATCOM). She will also meet with representatives from the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and engage in a discussion with experts and academics on policies that ensure lasting peace and security.
