President Vjosa Osmani has extended her condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and associates of former Deputy Foreign Minister and Ambassador of Kosovo, Anton Berisha, who passed away recently.

“With deep sorrow, we received the heartbreaking news of the untimely passing of Anton Berisha, former Deputy Foreign Minister and Ambassador of Kosovo,” President Osmani wrote in a heartfelt message.

She highlighted Berisha’s enduring legacy, emphasizing his contributions to Kosovo’s representation and service to its interests.

“I extend my sincere condolences to his family, relatives, colleagues, and associates. In these challenging moments for his family, I share in your grief and encourage you to find strength to cope with the pain. May the memory of Anton Berisha be eternal,” Osmani added.

Anton Berisha passed away yesterday after a brief illness, as confirmed by his family.

Homages will be held today from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Catholic Church “St. Catherine” in Peja. The burial ceremony will follow at 1:00 PM at the Catholic cemetery in Peja.
