President Vjosa Osmani Visits Northern Kosovo to End the Year
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has concluded her final visit of the year in the northern part of the country. During her time in the region, Osmani visited the Kosovo Police Directorate in North Mitrovica.
Joining her on this significant visit were Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla, Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha, and the Mayor of North Mitrovica, Erden Atiq.
This marks President Osmani’s first visit to the northern areas following the November 29 attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal in the village of Varragë, in the Serb-majority municipality of Zubin Potok.
The visit underscores the government’s commitment to supporting institutions and strengthening security efforts in northern Kosovo, particularly in light of recent challenges.
