President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received a warm and grand welcome from the Albanian diaspora in Philadelphia.
The reception took place at the Albanian School of Philadelphia, a building that community members had worked hard to secure and transform into a place dedicated to preserving language and cultural identity.
In a Facebook post, President Osmani expressed her gratitude:
“An extraordinary welcome from our diaspora in Philadelphia, in the house of an Albanian, a building that our compatriots, through hard work and effort, secured and transformed into an Albanian school. I am deeply grateful for this dedication, which preserves and strengthens our national language and identity.”
Earlier the same day, Osmani, alongside former U.S. President Bill Clinton, shared Kosovo’s story from liberation to the present in New York, addressing an audience from around the world.
