President of the United States, Donald Trump, has once again referred to Kosovo and Serbia, claiming that both countries were on the brink of war during his previous term.

In a recently shared video on platform X, Trump stated that he had successfully resolved several global conflicts, including tensions between India and Pakistan, and between Kosovo and Serbia.

“I managed to resolve many of these situations—India and Pakistan, Kosovo and Serbia. I asked them: ‘Are you going to fight?’ I said we won’t trade [with you]. And that seems to have worked quite well, and it’s coming to an end,” said Trump.

In the same speech, Trump also announced the shutdown of USAID, the U.S. Agency for International Development, citing reasons such as eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse. He added that the goal is to redirect efforts toward building sustainable economic opportunities involving the United States and African nations.

“We have closed the USAID group to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse… and we’re working tirelessly to forge new economic opportunities involving both the United States and many African nations… this will be far more effective and sustainable,” Trump said.
