President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has been personally invited by U.S. President Donald Trump to represent Kosovo as a founding member of the “Board of Peace.”
Osmani expressed that she is “deeply honored” by the invitation and emphasized that Kosovo will stand “side by side with the United States in the mission for a safer world.”
“I am deeply honored by President Trump’s personal invitation to represent the Republic of Kosovo in the Board of Peace as a founding member, side by side with the United States in the mission for a safer world,” Osmani wrote on Facebook.
She described the initiative as historic and highlighted the importance of courageous leadership in building peace, noting that this engagement reflects Kosovo’s commitment to international cooperation.
Kosovo’s participation in the Board of Peace underscores the country’s continued role as a reliable ally of the United States, building on the long-standing partnership that contributed to peace and stability in the region.
“Just as America brought peace to Kosovo, today Kosovo stands as its steadfast ally to advance peace further. History remembers those who take bold steps in building peace – and we are ready,” Osmani added.
The Board of Peace, chaired by President Trump, includes leaders from multiple countries and aims to promote global security and cooperation through collaborative initiatives.
