The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has traveled to the USA to represent Kosovo in the Security Council, in the session, which will be held on Monday.
According to the announcement, Osmani is expected to speak about progress, the implementation of reforms, human rights, democracy, the rule of law and other areas of importance for Kosovo. The president will also talk about the need for justice for the crimes committed by Serbia in Kosovo.
“During her stay in New York, President Osmani is expected to meet and coordinate with some of the permanent representatives of friendly countries at the United Nations.
The meeting of the Security Council of the United Nations for Kosovo will be held on Monday at 16:00, according to the local time of Kosovo, respectively at 10:00, according to the time of New York”, the announcement states.
