On Friday, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met with heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations in Kosovo engaged in the field of justice.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the meeting focused on preparations for the establishment of the Presidential Commission for Transitional Justice.
“The initiative to establish this Commission originates from the Transitional Justice Strategy of the Republic of Kosovo. President Osmani expressed gratitude for the support and commitment of the attendees to this process and announced that in the coming weeks, meetings will continue with other representatives from victim advocacy organizations, civil society, and the international community, with the aim of finalizing the swift commencement of the work of this commission,” the statement further reads.
