UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is facing growing internal pressure amid rising dissatisfaction within the Labour Party, Rks News reports.
Two senior Labour MPs told Sky News that frustration toward Starmer is intensifying, with discontent spreading among the party’s ranks.
According to them, poor results in the upcoming May 2026 local elections in Wales, Scotland, and London could prove politically fatal. Some current ministers have even acknowledged the possibility that Starmer may be forced to resign within the coming months.
Starmer assumed office in July 2024. If he were to step down, he would become the fourth UK prime minister in just three years—an indicator of Britain’s ongoing political instability.
