Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with Acting Minister of Justice Albulena Haxhiu, presiding officer of the constitutive session Avni Dehari, and former Speaker of the Assembly Glauk Konjufca, welcomed the Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi.
In a friendly and cordial meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between Kosovo and North Macedonia, the ongoing cooperation, and the latest developments in both countries. They highlighted the positive effects of interstate agreements for the citizens of both nations, particularly those aimed at facilitating the movement of people and goods.
Special attention was given to the establishment of joint border crossing points, such as Hani i Elezit – Blace and Globocica – Jazhince, as well as strategic infrastructure projects, including the Prizren – Tetovo road.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to further strengthen cooperation and to continue promoting regional stability and integration.
