Prime Minister Albin Kurti welcomed today Friedrich Stift, the Director-General of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), for a productive meeting aimed at strengthening ongoing cooperation between Kosovo and Austria.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude to Stift for the close and continuous collaboration between ADA and Kosovo’s institutions, particularly in the areas of education and vocational training.
According to a press release, the two officials discussed opportunities for further enhancing coordination in the development and expansion of dual education, which has now entered its third year of implementation. This initiative is currently offered in 12 profiles across 25 schools in 15 municipalities, benefiting 1,607 students.
The discussion also touched on the potential for further cooperation in the areas of digitalization in schools and cultural tourism, both of which are seen as key areas for collaboration between the two countries.
The Director-General of ADA, Friedrich Stift, was accompanied by Austria’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Georg Schnetzer, and ADA’s Director for Kosovo, Rita Glavitza, during the meeting.
