He spent around two and a half hours answering questions regarding the unlawful gathering of information by the media.
The lawsuit also involves other high-profile figures and accuses Associated Newspapers Ltd of eavesdropping and unlawful access to private information—claims that ANL denies.
The trial is expected to conclude in March, with the written judgment to be issued afterward.
