The Presidency of Kosovo announced that First Gentleman Prindon Sadriu has received an official invitation from U.S. First Lady Melania Trump to participate in an international summit at the White House scheduled for March 2026.
The summit will focus on the “Fostering the Future Together” initiative, which Kosovo joined in September 2025.
“This global White House initiative will provide advanced technology, including artificial intelligence, to support children, parents, and educators, while ensuring the protection of youth from online risks,” the statement said. “Major global tech companies have pledged to provide these tools at no cost or at very low cost to Kosovo and other participating countries.”
The initiative aligns with President Vjosa Osmani’s priorities on protecting children from digital risks and developing the information technology sector in line with youth interests.
Kosovo’s Commitment
The presidency emphasized that Kosovo will actively contribute to the initiative through plans already presented to the Trump Administration, highlighting the country’s commitment to strengthening its alliance with the United States.
“Kosovo’s participation in this summit underscores our dedication to advancing the well-being and development of the next generation and further reinforcing our strategic partnership with the United States,” the announcement concluded.
