Finance Minister Hekuran Murati has recommended to the Budget and Finance Committee that the budget of Prishtina Municipality be included in the 2026 draft budget. The recommendation was approved with 10 votes in favor, none against, and no abstentions.
“As the Ministry, we will provide the updated tables and propose them as amendments. This process has been completed by the municipalities of Prishtina and Shtime.
The Ministry’s recommendation is that the municipalities of Pristina and Shtime be included in the draft budget. Regarding Zubin Potok, I have been informed that the Municipal Assembly approved its budget yesterday, but the subsequent procedures have not yet been completed. It will be addressed once the process is finalized,” said Minister Murati.
The request to include the Shtime Municipality budget in this year’s draft budget was also approved with 10 votes in favor.
