Prishtina Police Execute 156 Court Orders in One Week – Seizing Weapons and Issuing Thousands of Traffic Fines

The Prishtina Regional Police has carried out a series of successful operations over the past week, as part of their commitment to enhancing security and enforcing the law in the capital’s territory.

According to the official announcement, in various locations and through separate actions, police officers executed 156 court orders. Of these, 21 were for criminal offenses, while the remainder pertained to misdemeanors, hearings, verifications, and other administrative matters. In accordance with these orders, individuals sentenced to imprisonment were sent to serve their sentences, while those fined were released after fulfilling their obligations.

Police also took action in the area of public safety, where 5 firearms of various types and calibers were seized, along with a significant quantity of ammunition.

Furthermore, special attention was given to road traffic safety. In the past week alone, 3,366 fines were issued for various violations of the Road Code. Of these, 568 were recorded through intelligent vehicles and mobile radars, reflecting the police’s determination to penalize every violation using technologically advanced methods.

The Prishtina Regional Police stated that such activities will continue with intensity, aiming to maintain public order and safety across all segments.
