Inmates at the Dubrava Correctional Center have successfully completed the wheat harvest, which was cultivated by the prisoners themselves.
The initiative was undertaken as part of the Kosovo Correctional Service’s efforts to promote rehabilitation through work, by offering inmates practical skills and new responsibilities.
“The harvested wheat will be used to supply all correctional institutions, while also providing direct economic benefits,” the announcement stated.
