Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari” has announced numerous flight cancellations to and from the airport due to heavy fog, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
One flight traveling from Stuttgart to Pristina was forced to divert to Skopje Airport, and other arrivals have been suspended for the time being.
As for departures from Prishtina Airport, six flights have been canceled.
A Sinjali correspondent at the airport reported chaos, stating passengers waited on the airplane for at least five hours.
“It’s chaos at the airport right now. We’ve been sitting on the plane for five hours. Our flight to Zurich was scheduled for 17:30, but we’ve just been informed that it won’t be taking off,” the passenger shared.
