The Agency for Information and Privacy has called on media outlets to adhere to legal obligations under the Personal Data Protection Law, specifically regarding the privacy of passengers at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari.”
The Agency, in a statement sent to the media, said it has received notifications and concerns from citizens traveling through the airport about the presence of journalists and media crews in airport areas and the publication of recordings made there.
The Agency emphasized the following points for media compliance:
- Respect personal privacy, especially in sensitive personal or family situations.
- Avoid recordings or publications without obtaining consent from citizens.
- Coordinate any filming or interviews with the relevant airport authorities.
- Refrain from sensational reporting that may infringe on passengers’ dignity or personal rights.
