Fire Near Former Railway Station in Prizren, No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out today around 1:00 PM in the area between “Wesley Clark” and “Ekrem Rexha” streets in Prizren, near the former railway station.

The fire has been localized, and firefighters are still on the ground working to fully extinguish it. According to Lieutenant Tahir Kabashi from the Kosovo Police, there are no reported injuries, and no risk of further spread or danger to nearby buildings. Competent authorities are on the scene and monitoring the situation.

“Today around 1:03 PM, Kosovo Police received information that a fire had broken out at the location known as the former railway station (the area between Wesley Clark and Ekrem Rexha streets), which firefighters are dealing with. The fire is localized, and firefighters are working to extinguish it. Law enforcement agencies are at the scene. There is no risk of the fire spreading, and no danger to nearby objects. We inform you that there is no danger to people’s lives either,” Kabashi stated.
