The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has authorized the Kosovo Police to begin collecting evidence regarding discrepancies identified after the recount of votes in the municipality of Drenas, related to the December 28, 2025 elections.
According to the Prosecution, suspicious differences have been detected in the results of candidates for Members of Parliament, prompting the need to verify and secure evidence of possible violations.
The Prosecution is also monitoring the recount process in other municipalities and will consider issuing additional authorizations for evidence collection once the recount process is fully completed.
