The Basic Prosecution of Prishtina has announced that two individuals have been detained for 48 hours following a coordinated law enforcement operation carried out after a months-long investigation in cooperation with the Kosovo Police.

According to the prosecution, the suspects—identified by the initials M.M. and Z.J.—are suspected of involvement in fraud, document forgery, and the legalization of false content. Authorities believe the suspects acted in cooperation with other individuals in carrying out the alleged offenses.

The case is linked to suspected criminal activities involving real estate property located in Veternik, covering an area of 56 ares. Investigators say the suspected scheme involved irregularities and potentially falsified documentation related to property ownership and transactions.

During investigative actions carried out as part of the operation, law enforcement authorities seized several items considered key evidence, including:

  • A vehicle valued between €50,000 and €60,000,
  • Cash amounting to €20,000,
  • Various property-related documents suspected to be forged,
  • Four mobile phones, which will be analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Officials stated that further legal measures will be taken against the suspects, while the investigation continues in close coordination with law enforcement agencies. The prosecution emphasized that the case remains active and that additional individuals could potentially be implicated as the inquiry progresses.
