The protest against the planned increase in electricity tariffs has concluded.
Protesters, who initially gathered at the KEDS building, marched toward the Government building.
They carried banners with slogans such as: “We won’t tolerate theft anymore,” “We won’t sacrifice for KEDS,” “A people cannot be subjected to KEDS,” and “Stop the electricity bill theft.” From there, they demanded that the Government prevent such measures.
The protest, which began at the KEDS facility, involved smoke canisters and resulted in the arrest of one citizen by the police.
