This Sunday, protests are expected in Strasbourg against the ongoing trial in The Hague by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers targeting former fighters and leaders of the Republic of Kosovo.
The announcement was made by the “Coordinating Council of Associations from the Albanian Liberation Movement and War,” stating that the protest will take place on November 16.
“PUBLIC CALL FOR PROTEST to protest in Strasbourg on November 16, 2025, against the unjust trial taking place in The Hague by the Specialist Chambers against freedom fighters and former leaders of the Republic of Kosovo,” the Council said in a statement.
They described the activity of the Specialist Chambers as biased, punishing Albanians instead of holding Serbia accountable for its crimes and genocide.
“The establishment and activities of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers have taken on a biased and selective character. Instead of punishing the crimes and genocide committed by occupying Serbia against the Albanian people, this court has turned into a political process against the Kosovo Liberation War itself—a just, liberating, and defensive war supported by our homeland, NATO, and the democratic world,” the statement added.
