The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, shared a post on Facebook following the conclusion of the protest in support of former UÇK leaders at Skanderbeg Square in Tirana.

Rama published photos showing thousands of citizens at the square, with national symbols and UÇK emblems prominently displayed. His caption read:

“Freedom has a name.”

The protest was organized by the Organization of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL-UÇK).

Earlier, the organizers announced that over 60 buses had traveled from Kosovo to participate.

This follows another protest held in The Hague on September 14, one day before the hearing of the first defense witness, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, James Rubin.
