Today at 14:00, a large protest is expected to take place in front of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague, in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). The protest is being organized by fellow veterans, members of the diaspora, and Albanians from all ethnic territories.
Participants from the diaspora have traveled to the Netherlands to unite their voices against what they describe as the “injustices being done to the liberators.”
Protesters are equipped with around 100 banners and slogans, all written in English, with the purpose of ensuring that their message is understood by the international community.
Organizers state that the aim of the protest is to raise awareness within international justice and to express support for those on trial in The Hague, who continue to face charges of war crimes.
