Large crowds gathered tonight in Belgrade, where a police cordon blocked access to the headquarters of President Aleksandar Vučić’s Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) on Knez Miloš Street, not far from the General Staff building.
SNS activists were also present, and verbal confrontations broke out between protesters and both the police and SNS members.
Protesters assembled in several locations across the capital, including Nemanjina Street, the roundabout near GO Novi Beograd, and at Autokomanda.
In Novi Sad, citizens gathered in front of the Security and Intelligence Agency. During the unrest, Vučić’s party offices in the city were broken into and damaged. At the time of the incident, no party members were inside the premises.
