Under the motto “Restore the Address,” Albanians from the Presevo Valley will protest today in Medvegjë against discrimination and to demand the reinstatement of deactivated addresses.

“The scheduled protest in Medvegjë on November 3, 2024, under the slogan ‘Restore the Address,’ is also against discrimination in the use of the Albanian language, national symbols, investments, and representation,” states the organizers’ announcement.

Ardita Sinani, the mayor of Presevo, has called for participation in this protest.

“We gather in Medvegjë to demand justice and to rightfully restore the deactivated addresses! Let us not allow our citizens to lose their right to identity and existence in their homeland,” wrote Sinani.

She emphasized that this protest is a call against discrimination and in defense of every Albanian’s right to live with dignity in their homeland.
