Russian President Vladimir Putin has made his first response to yesterday’s US-Russia talks on the issue of the war in Ukraine.
He was quoted by the Interfax and Tass agencies as saying that Russia is ready to return to negotiations over Ukraine, which is a priority for Russia, The Guardian writes.
Putin also praised the US-Russia talks, stating that their goal was to increase trust between the two countries and that both sides acted without “prejudices or judgment.”
