Russian President Vladimir Putin has presented the treaty on the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran to the government for ratification.
The document will be presented to lawmakers by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.
In the presidential decree, Putin stated, “With this decree, I appoint Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko as the official representative of the Russian president when the chambers of the Russian Federation Assembly review the issue of ratifying the treaty on the comprehensive strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, signed in Moscow on January 17, 2025.”
