The Chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kreshnik Radoniqi, met with the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Gerard McGurk.
According to the CEC’s announcement, Radoniqi informed Ambassador McGurk about the activities currently being carried out by the Central Election Commission toward concluding the recounting of polling stations and announcing the final results of the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo.
“On his part, Ambassador McGurk congratulated the CEC on the organization of the electoral process, as well as on the steps taken to identify problems during the vote-counting process for candidates for Members of Parliament. He also emphasized the CEC’s commitment to protecting the integrity of the vote and the electoral results.
At the end of the meeting, Radoniqi and McGurk agreed on the next steps of cooperation between the CEC and the OSCE Mission in Kosovo.”
