During a press conference held earlier today, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (KQZ), Kreshnik Radoniqi, announced that so far there have been no reports of irregularities that could compromise the integrity or overall conduct of the electoral process.
He based his remarks on preliminary data collected from around 94% of polling stations, emphasizing that the process is proceeding in an orderly manner and without major issues.
According to official data, by 11:00 a.m., a total of 158,691 citizens had cast their votes, representing 7.84% of the total number of eligible voters (2,025,105 registered voters).
For comparison, in the 2021 local elections, by the same hour 152,000 citizens had voted, which represented 8.2% of registered voters at that time (1,885,448 voters).
The KQZ announced that the next press conference will be held at 3:30 p.m., where new updates on the voting process will be provided.
