Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has voiced strong support for the U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, offering full endorsement of President Donald Trump’s efforts to halt the advancement of Tehran’s theocratic regime toward acquiring nuclear weapons.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Rama stated:
“As a nation that emerged from the abyss of a brutal theocratic regime, as a proud member of the free world, and as a strategic partner of the United States, Albania stands firmly behind President Trump’s sincere efforts to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from ever possessing nuclear weapons.”
Rama’s statement places Albania among the few countries in the region to publicly support the controversial U.S. military intervention, underscoring Tirana’s ongoing strategic alignment with Washington.
