In his victory speech at Skanderbeg Square, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama outlined an ambitious vision for his fourth mandate, placing strong emphasis on economic development, salary and pension increases, and infrastructure investment.

Key Highlights of Rama’s Fourth-Term Agenda:

  • National Production:
    Increase GDP from €25 billion to €35 billion.
    Raise per capita income from €10,400 to €15,000.
  • Wage and Pension Growth:
    • Public sector salary: from €1,000 to €1,200.
    • General average salary: from €830 to €1,000.
    • Minimum pension: raised to €200.
    • Minimum wage:
      • €500 in the short term
      • €650 by 2030.
  • Strategic Sectors for Development:
    • Tourism, military and agri-food industry.
    • Education: Smart surveillance in schools for child safety.
    • Healthcare: Investment in modern services and access.
    • Infrastructure:
      • Operationalize four airports.
      • Construct main railway lines.
      • Launch the Durres commercial port.
      • Develop the Blue Corridor and Corridor VIII.

Rama concluded by branding this mandate as one of “high trust”, committed to building a modern, developed Albania ready for its next chapter.
