Shortly before the 7th European Political Community (EPC) Summit in Copenhagen on Thursday, a video circulating on social media drew attention.
In the footage, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama can be seen joking with French President Emmanuel Macron, referencing some of U.S. President Donald Trump’s gaffes.
The joke refers to incidents when Trump confused Armenia with Albania, claiming he had “ended the conflict with Azerbaijan,” even though Albania has never had a conflict with Azerbaijan.
“You should apologize here, to both of us, because you didn’t congratulate us on the peace agreement that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan,” Rama is heard saying in the video.
