Prime Minister Edi Rama has promised that all residents affected by the recent wildfires in Gramsh and Delvinë will receive compensation.

During an online conversation with citizens, Prime Minister Rama said that out of 207 houses affected by the fire, 40 were completely destroyed. He pledged that the residents of these homes would be compensated with “better homes.”

“We are conducting a full inventory of the situation according to protocol, and without a doubt, as has happened in the past, no one will be left without the state’s support to return to stronger homes,” Rama said. He also promised that all lost livestock would be compensated “one by one.” The Prime Minister also expressed his profound gratitude and respect for all the forces engaged on the ground.
