The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has reacted following the discovery of three American soldiers dead in Lithuania.
The incident occurred on March 25 when an M88A2 Hercules armored vehicle sank into a swamp during a training exercise with the Lithuanian armed forces and law enforcement.
Through a post on “X,” Rama expressed his condolences for the loss of the three soldiers, stating that Albania is always by the side of the United States.
“Tragic news from Lithuania. The loss of American soldiers during the recent military exercise is a painful reminder of the risks faced by those who serve. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families. As always, Albania stands by the United States and its Commander-in-Chief,” Rama wrote.
