In his weekly podcast “Flasim”, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted key events of the week, with particular focus on his participation in the inaugural meeting of the Peace Board in Washington.

Rama described the visit as a milestone for Albania, noting the country’s role as a founding member helping shape a new chapter in global governance. He also reaffirmed Albania’s commitment to international stabilization efforts in Gaza.

Most notably, Rama publicly conveyed Albania’s concern over what he called the “unbelievable masquerade of international justice” in the Hague regarding former leaders of the Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës (UÇK). He criticized the tribunal for failing to meet democratic standards and for pursuing harsh sentences despite the collapse of charges alleging that the UÇK was a criminal enterprise.

Rama emphasized that the heightened international awareness of these proceedings should influence the tribunal to choose justice for Kosovo over the discrediting of its liberation leaders, balancing the dignity of the court with accountability for its judgments.
