At the Palace of Brigades, the Growth Plan Summit “Our Pathway to the EU” has commenced, attended by leaders of the Western Balkans and EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his opening speech at the summit, stated that the Western Balkans region has never undergone reforms of this scale, with €490 million mobilized across all sectors. He emphasized that the region seeks to grow with Europe, not at Europe’s expense.
According to Rama, the Western Balkans is not begging to join the EU but demonstrates every day that it deserves to be part of the Union.
