The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, today welcomed his Finnish counterpart, Petteri Orpo, in Tirana as part of the European Political Community Summit taking place in the Albanian capital.
In a post on Facebook, Rama shared details of their meeting and the topics discussed:
“At the Prime Minister’s Office – It was a pleasure to host the Prime Minister of Finland, Petteri Orpo, as we discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing shared European challenges.”
The meeting comes at a key moment for Albania’s regional engagement and its efforts to solidify partnerships within NATO and the European Union.
Orpo is among several European leaders who arrived in Tirana today for the summit, which is expected to address issues such as security, European integration, and global challenges like climate change and technology.
