Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the Albanian government has started preparations for the upcoming NATO Summit in Tirana.
Rama made these remarks during his speech on the “Sy m’Sy” segment on his Facebook page, where he also mentioned that Albania aims to open another negotiation chapter with the European Union.
The Prime Minister noted that Albania continues to progress steadily in its EU accession negotiations.
According to Rama, the goal remains to open all chapters within a reasonable timeframe.
He also spoke about the recently held European Political Community Summit in Tirana, which he described as an exceptional success, the impact of which still resonates in the corridors of European politics.
Additionally, Rama informed that preparations for organizing the NATO Summit in Tirana have already begun — an event that, according to him, requires several years of planning.
“The inspection team from NATO in Brussels has visited to analyze options and to take stock of our logistical and infrastructural capacities,” Rama said.
