Security expert Burim Ramadani, commenting on the research by Kiks Kosovo published on Monday, January 26, regarding the operation of Serbian channels on the Telegram platform, stated that one of the objectives of these groups—whom he describes as extremist—is to blackmail those moving in the north, as well as to monitor where they work and operate.

Ramadani emphasized that Kiks’ research presented this data in a structured, state-level context.

Furthermore, the security expert believes that these groups are on the radar of Kosovo’s security institutions.

He added that the police are prepared to carry out operations in the north and maintain stability in the area.

However, Ramadani believes that these groups will continue to challenge Kosovo because “Serbia’s political goal has not changed.”

This goal, according to him, is the division of northern Kosovo.

“The Serbian methodology is based on the Russian model, as it aims to exert influence in the Balkans,” he noted.

Ramadani said that Russia contributes to Serbian intelligence and that these efforts have objectives related to propaganda and intimidation.

According to him, the silence of institutions regarding this case is reasonable, as they are carrying out their work.
