The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, attended today the reburial ceremony of martyr Agron Gjocaj at the Martyrs’ Memorial Complex in Baballoq, Deçan.

Through a Facebook post, Haradinaj remembered Gjocaj as a brave and dedicated soldier, always on the front lines in the Dukagjini operational zone during the Kosovo war.

He noted that Agron joined the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) together with members of his family and contributed to supplying weapons, until the day he fell on August 18, alongside fellow fighters Avni Bali Sinanaj and Milaim Rexhë Gjocaj.

“From today, his body will rest at the Martyrs’ Memorial Complex in Baballoq, beside his fellow fighters. The glory of Agron Gjocaj is eternal, and his memory will always remain alive in our hearts. Eternal gratitude for his service to the homeland,” Haradinaj wrote.

The ceremony honored Gjocaj’s sacrifice and reaffirmed the lasting remembrance of those who fell during the war for Kosovo’s freedom.
