Nenad Rašić, leader of the “For Freedom, Justice, and Survival” party, has raised concerns over alleged vote manipulation in Serb-majority areas, claiming that attempts were made to bribe election commission members to annul votes for his party.
Allegations of Electoral Fraud
Rašić stated that he had received information about efforts to influence electoral commission members through bribery and coercion. In response, he formally addressed the Central Election Commission (CEC) to demand closer monitoring of polling stations where Serb voters cast their ballots.
“I requested CEC representatives to pay special attention to polling stations in Serb-majority municipalities. I have received strong assurances that they will prevent any attempt at fraud,” Rašić told RTK2.
Concerns Over Election Integrity
Rašić reiterated that the electoral process on voting day was deeply concerning, citing instances of blackmail, threats, and manipulation of voters.
The CEC’s response is seen as a critical step in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process, particularly in sensitive regions where political tensions run high.
