Minister in charge of Communities and Return, Neda Rašić, and leader of the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival, stated that he is not opposed to voting for Vjosa Osmani as president for another term, if she is nominated by the Movement for Self-Determination (LVV).

However, he emphasized that before making a final decision, he would like to have a meeting with Osmani, noting that he has specific requests regarding the Serbian community:

“If Osmani is the LVV candidate, she naturally carries special weight, and if they nominate her… we will support her. However, I insisted on having a meeting with Ms. Osmani first before making a final decision. I have some concerns I consider important for the Serbs and requested small modifications regarding how Ms. Osmani communicates with the communities. These are very technical matters. If these happen, I see no problem with voting for her,” Rašić said.

He added that it would be a mistake to hold elections just because of the presidency. Rašić also noted that he has not yet discussed government positions with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but meetings will take place after the vote recount process and certification of results.

Rašić has secured a seat in the Assembly of Kosovo.
