The well-known supporter group of the Albanian national team, Tifozat Kuq e Zi (TKZ), has once again voiced strong accusations against the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), this time regarding the recent Albania vs. Latvia match held in Riga, which ended in a 1–1 draw.

In a public statement, TKZ claimed they faced unprecedented security measures, allegedly imposed at the instruction of FSHF officials.

“Security staff themselves told us: ‘We have orders from your federation to search you thoroughly,’” TKZ wrote.

They say that even non-provocative banners bearing only their name—like “Tifozat Kuq e Zi” and “TKZ on Tour”—were banned from entering the stadium. Nonetheless, TKZ admit that they managed to bring in other banners with messages that “of course, we took inside.”

The group also cited a prior attempt to prevent their attendance:

“First, they didn’t allocate us any tickets, which, according to regulations, are reserved for visiting fans. They wanted to leave the seats empty to claim, ‘we had no fans,’” TKZ stated.

Despite the hurdles, TKZ say their spirit remains unshaken, issuing a defiant message:

“We know exactly who we’re dealing with. But let them remember: the times may favor the scoundrels, but the homeland belongs to the Albanians. We’ll see each other again very soon.”
