Dear citizens,

Today, the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo voted for the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Dimal Basha, and I was elected Deputy Speaker of the Assembly from the non-majority communities, except the Serb community.

Thank you to all my colleagues in the multiethnic group for the trust and support given for my election.

A special thanks go to Fikrim Damka and Fidan Brina Jilti from the Turkish community, Rasim Demiri from the Bosniak community, Elbert Krasniqi from the Egyptian community, Albert Kinolli from the Roma community, Nenad Rašić from the Serb community, Artan Aslani from the Ashkali community, and Veton Berishi from the Egyptian community.

I also thank the deputies of Vetëvendosje (48 deputies) and LDK (13 deputies), as well as those who did not vote for me — deputies from PDK, Serb List, AAK, Duda Balje, and Adem Hodža.

Your voice or stance today shows that the democratic process is alive, and my duty is to be the voice of all citizens.
