Tyson Fury will face Oleksandr Usyk once again in what is being called the rematch of the decade. The fight will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.
The two boxers first met in May at the same venue, with Usyk emerging victorious after a tough 12-round battle. This victory secured the 37-year-old Ukrainian the WBC belt, which had previously been held by Fury.
Both fighters, considered the best in the world, have made bold statements ahead of the fight:
Fury: “Just for the record, I’m going to absolutely annihilate this m———– on Saturday night. No retirement, I’m clearing them all out, and he’s going to be first. Rabbit’s face.”
Usyk: “It will end with the victory of The Rabbit. How beautiful.”
Both men entered the ring with impressive records, with Fury at 34-1-1, having suffered one loss to Usyk, while Usyk remained unbeaten at 22-0.
