On the anniversary of the death of Elfete Humolli, a young heroine who at the age of 16 rose against the oppression and violence of the Serbian regime, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, participated in a commemoration and paid tribute by visiting the Humolli family in Lower Lupç.
During the visit, a wreath was laid in honor of Elfete and her brother, Mentor, who fell as a martyr in the Battle of Koshare in 1999.
President Osmani emphasized that the sacrifice and courage of Elfete and Mentor are a lasting inspiration for all citizens of Kosovo and reflect their boundless love for the freedom of the country.
