Serbia’s security services and the Security Information Agency (BIA) have submitted to the country’s president a report regarding the suspicious death of Radomir Kurtiq, a representative of Jugoimport SDPR in Moscow.

According to reports by the Serbian newspaper Blic, Kurtiq died on November 17, 2025, on a street in Moscow. Serbian authorities have been awaiting forensic reports from the Russian side, which to date have not yet been delivered.

Radomir Kurtiq was serving his second term as Jugoimport SDPR’s representative in Moscow. A company commission that visited the offices in Moscow reportedly found that a large number of documents were missing, as well as computer hard drives.

Russian investigative authorities have not provided any official information about the case either to the Serbian Embassy or to Jugoimport SDPR’s representation in Moscow, nor to Serbia’s security services.

During a meeting with representatives of the security services and Jugoimport SDPR, the President of Serbia emphasized that no one should be blamed without solid evidence, but stressed that there must be persistent efforts to obtain all necessary information from Russian state institutions and security services.
